| Along with gardening, Paula’s main interest outside of her art is her involvement with purebred dog activities. She competes in AKC Obedience trials with 2 dogs currently, and will eventually show her youngest dog in Obedience after he has spent some time in the Conformation ring with her. |

Bobby (ELF Presidential Prerogative CD) is an 8 year old blue merle Australian Shepherd. Bobby did a little conformation competition and is pointed; He attained his Companion Dog (CD) title in 1999; he is currently working toward his Companion Dog Excellent, or CDX, after which he will retire from the Obedience ring. He was Paula’s first competition Obedience dog and was a true learning experience. |
| Ziggy (Maenell’s Ziggy M) is a 6 year old black Standard Poodle. He is competing in the AKC Obedience trials. He has very high drive and is an inventive and enthusiastic worker. He belonged to Paula’s late mother, who always wanted a Standard Poodle. They selected him together with an eye toward Paula eventually taking him through all levels of competitive Obedience. He got his CD with Paula the summer of 2004. He will be working for his CDX during the fall of 2004, and then he will perhaps tackle the Utility ring. |

Flash, AKC Ch. Foxtale's Something to Talk About, is 3 years old and starting to work in Obedience and an agility class to see if he (and Paula!) are suited to it! | Emma (ELF Ms. Emma Peel) is a 9 year old Australian Shepherd. She spent some time in the conformation ring and is pointed, but has decided she doesn’t need titles for validation. She takes care of details at home. |

| A new addition from Milwin is Ribbon (Milwin's Silver Ribbon at Inkwell), a blue merle puppy born May 2004 and destined for the Breed ring next year. She has a wonderful bold temperment and is rather cute as well. |
